A suggestion from Russia's top officials to cut Russia's eleven time zones has sparked severe criticism across the country. Some say the amendments would be too expensive, too confusing - and might even damage peoples health. But for others, the situation as it IS causes huge problems - and they say - it's TIME for change.

  • @Dimneh On spot!

  • You are RETARDED!

  • Lol? Just follow whatever time gets the job done! It doesn't matter what 'time zone' you're in. stay open later or open earlier. It's not that hard. Also, I wouldn't even care if they changed the time zones to follow exact longitudes.

  • The simple solution would be to adjust time zones so that everybody in each republic/krai/oblast follows the same time. That way, you wouldn't get great divides in the middle of large population clusters. This would be really easy to do, and most countries in multiple time zones make sure that their metropolitan regions have a clear divide.

  • yeah 5 to 11...
