The hand washing technique for nurses involves using warm water, using liquid soap and antibacterial soap, scrubbing the hands well and making sure to wash and dry in between the fingers and nails. Use antibacterial soap as a backup with advice from a nurse in this free video on hand washing techniques.

  • Totally Wrong you are supposed to turn the faucet off with 2 separate dry towels !

  • haha you should go back to grade school ..oh grade school students are more good in handwashing than you let em teach you lols

  • What has happened to wetting hands before applying soap? The ring is, in her own words, a 'NO NO' and using one towel for both hands? She also uses the paper towel on her wrists first and then goes back to her fingers....

  • your dumb.your doing it all wrong

  • Am.....WRONG!!

  • who has to remove your jewellery re..

  • if a student nurse washes her or his hands in this way they are out of the class and sent back to year one.... You should remove this video otherwise we think Ehow is not a reliable source of information.

  • This is medically incorrect....scrub with soap(lather)for about 15-20 sec. then rinse in the water and when its time to turn off the water you need to use another clean paper towel after your hands are dry. And jewelry OFF!!
