The Self-Righteous Brothers (aka Bryan Duncan and Bob Carlisle) shot by Christopher Redner as they perform "Soul Man" and "I Thank You" in Tulsa, OK during Bryan Duncan's Slow Revival tour.
I found the yellow jackets in the venue's usher closet and talked Bryan and Bob into wearing them. I don't remember what inspired Bob to wear a cymbal as a necklace.
I shot this video with a Hi-8 camera using the on-camera microphone. I no longer have any Hi-8 equipment, so I uploaded this using a Digital8 camera, which probably accounts for some of the video artifacts.
Both songs were written by Isaac Hayes and David Porter and originally recorded by Sam & Dave.
Ha! I was at this concert! And stayed on the same floor as Bryan and Bob. Was in the elevator with them after the show.
