It's clear that Rush was talking about the perspective of the left in power now. Rush said "siphon contributions as their salaries" as if it were evil, in a sarcastic tone. He was mocking the left perspective. As a private sector supporter he wouldn't be presenting those that earn a salary in the private sector as evil. The only way you can is to ignore that he was mocking, take his comments literally and present them out of context. As Media Matters always does.

What an opportunist. Rush Limbaugh was taken out of context, yet again, by Media Matters and the left. He was commenting on how liberals see the private sector and non-profit organizations. They want the government to be in charge of doling out money and services to get people to rely on the government. The economic rapists were those in charge in the government
