How to build a GT Snow Racer with bmx Handlebars!

This is the ultimate most popular video on youtube about how to build it, the original audio was changed by youtube because i used a song in it that they would not let me keep, so i instead put the walkthrough with the annotations editor.
thanks I changed the front ski like a week after when i finaly got a real on, the old original one broke.
OK JUST SO ALL YOU CRITICIZING PEOPLE OUT THEIR CAN KNOW, I DIDN'T PAY A CENT ON THIS PROJECT, AND I BUILT THIS IN 2007 AND IT HAS LASTED ME SINCE THEN, It is very strong and has not needed any maintenence and hasn't broken or bent, the ski i used on the front has been removed and replaced with an ACTUAL snow racer ski.

How to make a gt snow racer with bmx handlebar. I was using the skateboard at the front just for then, i put a new snowracer ski on it now, in the vid of me doing the tricks, i had the real ski on the front.

Can you do it without using the bmx thingy, i mean just take off the old steering wheel and put bmx handlebars? Please reply! PS: Sorry for my bad english! :)

@WhuttaF no i dont think so, the original stem isnt strong enough anyway, it also has a lot of play which is bad

i have two noma gt snowracers and simply put my bmx handlebars on the original shaft with a bolt right in it, it does the job but its only temporary. i truly believe this video shows one of the right ways of doing, the original shaft and welds arent strong enough for a teen or adult. this build requires more work but it can support way more impact from jumps and hard landings, give the dude a break he might not be able to pull off any tricks yet but he can build a badass gt. nice vid man!

im making something similar right now but i took the steering stem off a bike that had front shocks, any ideas on how i could rig up back shocks for under the skis?

@bikercc nono, i hav cuted of my forkand placed the thing who hold the ski in the hole under the fork
