Lepplady: The only reason I was watching Dancing w/the Stars was because My Man Jason Taylor the best D back in the league was on there and then my boys Def Lepp were on to boot! Did you see it?

Well whaddaya know. For ages, I thought I was the only person who saw this. I've tried to find it on the net before but to no avail. No one I've asked remembers it. I decide to google it now and there it is. The first time I've seen this since it originally aired over 10 years ago. Thanks. I can sleep tonight knowing I'm not insane and didn't just dream I saw this way back when. Which seemed likely because Def Leppard + the NFL + this song selection is certainly odd to say the least.

I think it's cool that different aspects of popular culture, sports and music, can cross over and work off each other. Great fun!

I love def leppard and this song is so important. but what a stereotypical corporate waste of imagination this is. Using a great song to push a heartless, meaningless business venture. What next? Right Now" as a soda commercial? Oh wait, crystal clear pepsi? shit. kids look it up.

Or maybe they'll do a basketball intro. It's a mutual plug, each playing off the other, the sport and the band. Sports and bands are both for good frolicking fun and entertainment, but they're also businesses.
All stuff like this means is that they're out there and we get to watch. And if they plug Pepsi or show up on Dancing with the stars, more power to 'em. Most bands from the 80's are flipping burgers somewhere while these guys are still going strong.
