Is this movie based on the book "Mists of Avalon"? Was a great book.

its funny the church so many years ago would damn us to death for just being what was the natural order of things. We as humans have so many gifts and yet the church says we are evil for using them. They are so blinded by fear. I dont knock the people just the church...anyway this movie and song reminds me of my roots. My ancestors are druid. ;)
