These Newfoundland dogs are graduates from the Italian Dog Rescue School. They are the world's first airborne dog rescue team.

  • Look at that, the helicopter is over a hundred feet in the air and the trainers have to HOLD the dog back from trying to rescue the person, amazing.

  • I would have more faith in that dog saving my life than a human.

  • This is down afk are their some in the USA

  • Newfoundlands are not known for "mountain" rescue; they've been used as water rescue dogs for a very long time. You may be thinking more of the St. Bernards. Great video though; makes me miss my Newfie, Samson, who died at age 13.

  • One word, the dog got "balls"

  • I WANT A NEWFOUNDLAND SO BAD!

  • i love newfoundlands!!

  • @jumper1294 lol, actually, no. I didn't mean from which the dog jumped, obviously that was only about 8 - 10 feet. I was referring to when they were first flying in on the helicopter... the dog was pulling, trying to jump in when they were a good 80 - 100 feet above the water. ;)
