Random encounter interview downtown Portland Oregon Occupy Portland camp. I didn't post this to make the Occupy movement look bad, In fact I support it. But people should be aware of who claims to be representing us as the 99%. I do have other videos with different interviews showing that there are people there who know what they are doing. This video was to make people aware that the wrong people are claiming to be involved in this, and if a statement is to be made, then perhaps more people should get involved. @duanescot Not all of them, but unfortunately some of them. I would say about 2/3 of the people there don't have a legit reason for being there. The problem here is that douche bags truly do OCCUPY EVERYTHING! How is a movement that operates primarily in public areas supposed to deal with that X factor? Every crime that takes place in the vicinity of an OWS protest will now be attributed to them as a way to discredit them. Every tool like this guy will be interviewed as a way to marginalize them. This is the problem with occupying public places. Next thing you know OWS will be considered a terrorist organization. Just wait and see.

The occupiers are the one percent OF one percent and sure as hell do NOT represent the rest of us "99%". The fact is, it's closer to the "98%". We pay taxes, 1% (the wealthy) get the tax breaks while the OTHER 1% are freeloading, liberal BUMS wanting everything (including education, housing, food, medical care, etc. etc. etc.) for nothing, like the Occupiers. They're socialist BUMS who need to get themselves cleaned up & get JOBS. (and yes, jobs are there.. but would YOU hire any of these ppl?)
