@Generalkidd not only that, but I was reading an article a while ago about how switserland found a way to basicaly turn algee into an oil substitute. If we can base around this, No more EPA bothering oil companies, and goodby oil shortages. They said that some time in the next 5-7 years, that it will be perfected for a larger scale.

@supercj12 In fact, besides oil, the US also has enough coal and natural gas to last hundreds of years. Thereofre, if something were to happen to the Middle East's oil, the US would be fine for the most part. And I think by the 2020's, the US will start to shift to more alternative energies like nuclear thus reducing our reliance on oil in the first place.
-
@supercj12 Also, another issue with this video is that even if there was a Saudi-Iran war and our Middle Eastern oil was cut off, the US has it's own oil supply both inland and off shore. It's estimated we have enough of our own oil to last over a hundred years if we're agressive about where we drill. We'd even be able to sustain our economy with oil exports to other nations if the middle east is cut off, essentially making the world dependent on the US for fossil fuels.

@thebritish25 Except the Romans and Mongols were constantly being watched by satellites and getting sanctions as well as UN actions taken against them.

@TheCommenter71 I don't think they strictly adhere to that anymore. They're not samurai anymore. In fact, I think they stopped strictly following that code after World War II when they ended up surrending to the US under the threat of atomic destruction.

@supercj12 No I saw that part. But it still doesn't matter. It's not like the military has to swim through the river. Ever heard of flying? And besides, the west coast is still too big for a country as small as North Korea to occupy. And our pacific fleet is the largest naval fleet in the world so they'd have to defeat our entire navy first. And if you saw in the video, we recalled our entire pacific fleet so North Korea would have a tough time attacking the US, let alone occupying it

Japan surrendering? Doesn't thier bishido code (which they still follow) forbid surrender?

@Generalkidd I dont think you saw and heard everything from this. Stop the video at 2:35 and you'll see that Korea irradiated the Mississipi and to seperate the US. The US still exists, just on the east side of the river, while Korea controls everything on the west side, they didnt occupy the entire country.

@Flyermac Your wrong, because its not North Korea, Its just the Greater Korean Republic, both north and south korea, as well as the entire East Asia, and Japan.
EVERYONE needs to watch this. /watch?v=CsgaFKwUA6g

@ryancicocki One of the first rules of warfare mate never under estermate your enemy.
Remember Rome started off as a small insignificant village but grew into one of the most famous empires man has ever known.
The mogols started off as a small hunting tribe on the verge of being wiped out by rivials but they turned the tide and expanded and built an empire that stretched from Korea to Poland.
