Slashco, the turret it's gone and the orks have artillery! So space marines have to move foward or they are hammered down by long range ork's big gun! Moreover dreadnough comes and men morale increase...that's why marines charge enemy...it's the only one good tactic remained!

Why would Space Marines leave their trenches and charge Orks in close combat? It might look dramatic, but it makes no tactical sense. :)

maby it was an objectives mission and they only have 1 turn left ( 5 minutes if you play the video game version ). I make my guard get to the objective on the last turn to make sure I can at least contest it. >=)
