Bring Back Disney Classics!!!

I'm sorry, I had to use audio swap to avoid issues with copyright. I had no idea how to get video clips to work on my editing program when I made this. Im sorry, I didn't use actual video footage and some of the songs are not the originals. As for the songs, I didn't have some of the originals when I made this. Haha, now I DO know how to use video footage and I have all the original songs! I realize I left out a bunch of the older classics but I still do love them too. I'll re-do this someday :)

My favourite thing about Disney Classics is that, all, or almost all, of the characters sing. Alan Menken was and still is a genious! He had so many Academy Award winning songs! The big full orchastrated scores just adds to the magic of Disney. The Princess and the Frog was fantastic! I went on the 11th for my birthday. It was pure Classic Disney that has been long overdue. I was disappointed that Alan Menken didn't write the music but it had music none the less!

Oh how I miss the innocence of true love! Disney always had a beautiful love story to go with their films. The magic of the first kiss and the realization of falling in love! Of course, Disney is known for it's touch of magic. The love&magic is lost in the new films!

There are no sinister villains in the new animated movies! I absolutely love how in all the classics there's that sinister villain. Frollo, Maleficent, Hades etc. That touch of evil just completes it! It's not a true Disney movie unless good verses evil in a final battle!

They don't put any more effort into their movies anymore. They had almost 4 million drawings for Pinoccio, it took over 800 amintors for Oliver and Company, 2 million hours just to draw characters of Hunchback of Notre Dame. Now that's some high quality work!

This really dosn't have anything to do with Disney Classics but I wish Disney would market more of the Heroines instead of the Princesses. Yes, the Princesses are beautiful but the Heroines are much better role models. I realized the most of the Heroines are also multi-culturel. Even better! I think Disney should be marketing Pocahontas,Mulan and Esmeralda. Tiana is already being marketed, which is good. Yes, they all have a happy ending and a 'Prince Charming' but they have to work to get there. They don't just live in a castle and look pretty. They all teach very valuable lessons that should be taught not just to children but everyone! =)

i find it rather ironic that you want back classic disney movie but you failed to mention some of the most important ones.... example: HELLO!! SNOW WHITE! as the first full length animated movie EVER shouldnt we give her a bit mroe recogniton? and what about Cinderella, SLeeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, and 101 Dalmations? i would consider a remake of this

God! I miss the days when the writers and animators at Disney actually TRIED! I'm thinking of starting a petition to Disney to add a "Disney Classics" channel, where they'd show only the old cartoons from the 90's down, like Goof Troop, Tale Spin, Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, the animated Aladdin series...the stuff you used to rush home from school for. There would also be the old Disney movies on too; like the classics and the originals from the 90s and down. Would anyone else be on board?

Im not sure what's worse: kids growing up with Hannah Montana and never watching the good wholesome movies disney on made or knowing kids my age ( im a senior in highschool) never seen said classics. One kid told me he never saw peter pan. I hid in a dark emo corner for the rest of the week... and im not even emo :(

@intoTaboo They had a different idea for Rapunzel that was much more credible. Like while it was still gona be cgi, they based the look and style of the film off an old painting. As a fan of classic Disney, especially the earliest features, I would've liked to see that. It could've been what Walt woudl've wanted for CGI films. They changed it into another pop-flick because Princess and the Frog didn't sell well.. I wonder if Tangled fared any better..?

i have to ask what did you think of tangled(rapunzel) ? i felt like if it was just hand drawn i woulda liked it but nooooo they had to do 3D....sigh totally ruined its potential...oh well just my opinion

i know right and they dont even make the dolls anny more the onley one's that they make dolls for are the disney princesses and like when hercules come's out agen i want them to make another megara doll same with atlantis kida and the hunchback of ntotra esmerelda dame and tarzan jane and i also hate thare new simdol i like ther old old opining for movie's beter and yes your tottaly right
