@topraka Yakut horses may be related to the extinct Ice Age Tundra Horse. They have thick winter coats with a sub-dermal layer of fat to keep them warm. They are able to halve their breathing rate to slow down their metabolism in harsh weather. Their hooves are specially large to help dig in deep snow to find food. These remarkable animals are designed to live outside.
