Here's my voice in a hit commercial that aired in the U.S. and then Europe. They casted in L.A., New York and Toronto, and I got the part. The ad agency flew in from Chicago to record me. The animation was done by Aardman Animation, the Oscar-winning company in England that created Wallace & Grommit and Flushed Away. It's also playing at www.hubbabubbamax.com so you can check it out there. And be sure to tell Wrigley if you like the character!

  • Do they still sell hubba bubba?

  • @MrSupernova220 Yes, as far as I know! I think they have new, advanced kinds of it, too.

  • You're welcome! It was a lot of fun to act in. And when I was at Aardman Studios shooting a commercial, I asked to see the claymation version of me, and the animator said the commercial was fun to animate because the voice was so good. So that was flattering... Because these guys win Oscars for their films!

  • This is cute, but totally a rip-off of Aardman Animation's signature style (who made Wallace & Gromit)

  • @schoschie It's not a rip-off. Aardman Animation MADE the commercial. The client - Wrigley - wanted the creatures to be a bit "smoother" looking, which is why the animals don't have the signature Aardman handmade claymation marks on them. But it's Aardman. When I was at the Aardman studios in Bristol shooting commercial I wrote for Gain Detergent, I was able to see the little claymation model of the chameleon that I voiced. Very cool!

  • This is such a cute cute commercial. I love the animation here. The characters are just too charming. Great job on the voice acting, Josh!

  • Thanks, ramyun! Your positive feedback is much appreciated :)

  • @ninjatoes67 They don't talk, chew gum, and advertise for Wrigleys either. Want to point out anything else that's completely obvious?

  • Chameleons dont have teeth like that

  • Thanks for posting this Josh. This kinda reminds me of the fun 80s commercials they used to have back in the day. Creative and fun. Not much of that anymore.

  • OMG!!! I loved this commercial. Thanks for posting this.
