The Diamond Sports Big Apple Career Week will be held July 25th to July 30th in New York, the "Sports Business Capital of the World", offering a small group of students a rare opportunity to meet and hear from industry executives and "rising stars" in our field. Our all star lineup of speakers scheduled to appear include HBO Sports President Ross Greenburg, ESPN SVP Communications Chris LaPlaca, MSG VP Community Relations Karin Buchholz, Bloomberg Sports GM Bill Squadron, NY Mets SVP Marketing David Newman, SVP MLB Productions David Gavant, SNY media personality Chris Carlin, ESPN 1050's Ryan Ruocco, Sports Media Partners CEO Doug Perlman, ANC Sports President Jerry Cifarelli, former NY Yankees PR Director Rick Cerrone, Diamond Sports Managing Partner and former VP Communications at SI Art Berke, and executives from the NFL, NBA, and MLS.

Seminars will be offered at NY sports landmarks and venues, including Chelsea Piers, Madison Square Garden, the new Meadowlands, Red Bull Arena, MLB Studios, the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center, during a game at Citi Field, and culminating with a tour and private lunch at Yankee Stadium. Seminars will also be offered at NYU and Fordham University's Lincoln Center and Rose Hill campuses.

Our speakers wil cover all the bases, from marketing and PR, to digital media and production, facility management and operations, sponsorships and sales, agency, community relations, entrepreneurship, social media, not for profits, and more.
Big Apple Career Week will offer a great opportunity to engage in Q&A on career development, as you join fellow students from around the country at networking events at Chelsea Piers and Mickey Mantle's on Central Park.
