IN ENGLISH:
Lisbon Reform Treaty is dead!

Ladies and Gentlemen, the only democratic and honest solution of the Irish „NO" is to say that Lisbon Reform Treaty is dead. And that it was a „dead end". The heads of the member states should finally take into account, that in the democracy the politics is not created in air-conditioned saloons above the plate of goose livers, and they should not try to direct lives of others from the Brussels. Irish Referendum is clear proof that people do not like such dictate and arrogance of the Union elites. The European Council should let the people decide. And also it should stop deceive the citizens of EU. Can't we learn from our past mistakes? Do really the political elites want that after the gory 20th century the big states would again decide for the smaller ones? It was not enough for certain head of states and prime ministers that they lived most of their lives in totalitarian Soviet bloc? Ladies and Gentlemen, the Council should recap basic concepts. Why EU had been created and on which values it is standing. The European Council should respect the rules and immediately cancel the ratification of the dead Lisbon Reform Treaty.

A musí přestat občany podvádět. Copak se neumíme poučit z vlastní historie? Opravdu politické elity chtějí, aby po krvavém 20. století velké státy opět rozhodovaly o státech menších? To některým premiérům a prezidentům nestačilo, že prožili podstatnou část svých životů v totalitním sovětském bloku? Dámy a pánové, Rada by si měla zítra zopakovat základní pojmy. Proč Unie vznikla a na jakých hodnotách je postavena. Měla by respektovat pravidla a okamžitě ratifikaci mrtvé Lisabonské smlouvy ukončit.

  • Who is that woman speaking?

    Wow she's stunning!!!

  • This is the Czech Member of the European Parliament, Jana Bobošíková. You can always click on her profile and get more info about her work in the European Parliament.

  • i checked your profile and you have 57 videos of speeches you made in the EU parliment... well done..! if irish politicians bothered to do this and put it on you tube as proof i would have more respect for them instead they claim all the expenses both in brussels and in ireland and don't bother showing up for either..!! except of course when there is a vote for a pay rise....well done again the EU is corrupt but the best way to fight is if your there......

  • Thank you, I have more speeches, but they are downloadable from the site of the European parliament only since the year 2006.

  • thanks for your response!

When and where is the Czech court ruling on the Lisbon Treaty?

  • To answer "where" question - the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic is in the city Brno.

To answer the "when" question - is more tricky. Alexandr Vondra (Deputy Premier for European Affairs) has said that maybe around September/October and later he said that we should not put pressure on the court... so there is no precise date at the moment.

  • What was that about "The Lisbon Reform Treaty" being dead? Obviously not dead enough to prevent Vaclav Klaus from signing it into law in a few weeks time (assuming, of course that the Czech Constitutional Court rules against the latest challenge to the Treaty). As Barroso observed after the first Lisbon vite "It ain't over until the fat lady sings!" And he wasn't referring to Angela Merkel.

  • Well urfadder considering all the lies the major political parties have told us over the past few years and the desperate economic situation the government and social partners - ICTU and IBEC - have helped to cause I know who I wouldn't trust.

  • NO SIDE: Shinners, Ganley, Socialists, Coir, Eirigi, UKIP, Le Pen, BNP.

YES SIDE: all international chambers of commerce, 3 main political parties, IFA, IBEC, SIPTU, ICTU, most major trade unions, Ryanair, Intel, Microsoft.

    Who you going to trust?

  • dodateK:

  • Marry me....

  • Good job. I wish shou would be successfull at the end.
