Hillsong United Youth Conference 2005 - Guy Sebastian came one day - sang and shared his testimony. It was pretty awesome. It was funny to see so many people going wild because he was there.

I don't know what they do at the hillsong united youth conference but if this is all they do, then were in trouble. You don't have to go to a Hillsong youth conference to get a dance show. It is nice to have fun but it is more important to focus on leading the youth to a deeper form of worship with God. Getting to a place where it is just you and him;where no one else matters. A place where he freely pours out his spirit on you.

they do an actual message + praise & worship .. just like any other Christian church. This was just "extra."

Ha ha, the United guys rock. They're so on fire for God but they don't let that pull them into the 'look at us, so serious and pious and holy' realm. They're a real blessing to young Christians all over the world

I disagree, enjoying music and dance isn't worldly, God created these things for us to enjoy and have fun. Don't call God's creation worldly. Don't be more religious than God cause He isn't. God EXPECTS us to be relevant, to cultivate the earth. If we are to do things so religious that ppl outside the church can't relate with, how are we suppose to be soul-winners? Pray on it and think about it. What i say is all according to the bible.

@kualitee88 Sounds a bit of humanism to me, when a man hears the word, he responds in two ways he recieves or rejects, we are trying to treat Diabetes with sugar, when what we need is a good diet and some Insulin. The Gospel is so basic and it is the truth that Man needs. keep it simple and maybe we'll get more quality decisions than quantity.

@kaisuke God has given us music to be put in the right place. There doesn't seem to be anything God honouring about the way these people are dancing just a carbon copy of what we see on MTV, Be very careful the way you misinterpret Religion because God mentions "your religion must be greater than that of the pharisees" and we are to relate not to compromise the message. I am very on fire for God but want to pull people to christ and not to the world.

@lapuriter i've neva been but you've also gotta realise that theres gonna be youth there who may hav neva even heard the word Jesus b4 (if u get wot i mean), hav been so resistant b4 or dont understand, so its bprobably better to bring out wot the youth of today are interested in with also Gods message in it then they might be softened up or understand a bit more. this is also showin the world the gifts that God has given them i'm sure there was a bit praise, a word and an alter call as well x x

yes you are right because if really worship god you sing a song only for god a song for a sacred heavenly father not a song of a worldly people

like for example king Daved he nerver sung a song not for himself but for his god we can prove that in the book of psalm...

yeah i agree with you.. sometimes we forget that we are not always listening to music that has a message for GOD 24/7 and there is nothing wrong with that. For example i know for a fact that every single song we listen to is not about GOD. Sometimes we listen to some ACDC once in a while ect.
