I just got a pair fer my 08 ext cab GMC Sierra an donot have the middle support brackets(because its a ext cab) had to mount support brackets to the frame of the truck , the kit has "T-bolts"that slid into frame holes that I had to hon out(make bigger) that was the only bitch I had installin them! other than that my truck looks SUPER COOL an I am HAPPY!!an I'm not a happy person.

wow i was just looking at nerfbars from truck champ for my 2000 gmc sierra ext cab for like 220 dollars seems like a good price for nice nerf bars that simply bolt on i might get them some time

Well it wasn't complete bullshit, but maybe a little. Our star Annie didn't actually loosen the factory bolts, but our mechanics did behind the scenes. They used a plain ole wrench....no power tools at all. OK they were grumbling because they wanted a drill and we didn't have one....it would have made things easier.
