True story..Sammy was stopped on Rt 95 in Rhode Island back in the 80s in a Black 1980 Trans Am,The State cop who stopped him let him go after busting his B@lls about the color of the car(Not being Red),The cop was a big Hagar Fan and got his Auograph too.

Thats because GM stopped making decent cars.
I regret to this day, Trading my 1978 Bandit T/A for a 2000 T/A WS-6, Ram Air, Hurst 6sp, T-Tops. It has cost more to keep the 2000 running for 12 years, than it did the 1978 for 22 years. Finally got fed up with it, put it in the barn, up on blocks, covered. Screw it. 20-30 years from now, maybe Ill get something for it.. But for now, Im on the hunt for another 1978.
