@nem5009 Well, if we can ignore that "enjoying (someone's) touch" has a sexual connotation, then maybe you'd be right. It would still be rather unnecessary and...(claustrophobic?) to most people I know.

@th3wing3dpaint3r I don't think you understood the comment. I think it's pretty obvious that these men are strait at least by societal standards...but that doesn't mean they don't enjoy the touch of the same sex. I don't think women would not enjoy touching other women just because they're strait, just as I don't think a gay man or woman would not enjoy touching the opposite sex just because of what they are.

@nem5009 I wish homosexual men would learn to respect and accept that straight men really are heterosexual. You don't have to turn the slightest contact between male friends into "homosexual tendencies", they're not.
This sport is practiced by many heterosexual males and it really has nothing to do with "enjoy[ing] the touch of the same sex". Maybe you should apply the "homosexuality is not a choice" logic to heterosexuality to avoid confusion.

@armac911 are you suggesting that homo-erotic tendencies don't date back to 2650 BC?
I don't care that guys enjoy fighting and sticking their hands down each other's pants. it's human to enjoy the touch of another person; male or female. but they should not belittle other's life choice (being gay), as so many do in these countries, when they themselves enjoy the touch of the same sex as well. some argue they do it for a strategic advantage, but hands stay down there a long time occasionally

south park should do an episode where cartman does this.

@armac911 I am not being homophobic here, and I can see this is a sport that has gone on for a while, but, c'mon, grown men covered in oil wrestling each other, how can this get any more kinky?
-
@armac911 thanks for the education, man. it's very interesting to know. i never knew this existed at all until super street fighter 4 =D.
People commenting about how gay this is, know this.
Oil wrestling dates back to 2650 BC in Egypt and Assyria. During the times of the Ottoman Empire, this was greatly appreciated sport (around 100-200 years ago). The contestants (Pehlivans) were trained for years before they face each other, and this WAS the way to impress ladies in the past, especially in the balkans and middle east countries that were under Ottoman control.
If you are gay or Homophobic, you can find gay in anything i guess.
