  • I didnt have a clue who he was he was just up on the board as Robbo. I won the bull up and banged in a 15 dart leg. I don't think I have ever played 3 such solid legs in a row. One of my teammates came over and told me who it was and I couldn't believe it

  • Great upload, I had heard of Ian Robertson's reputation as a dart player in the Bedford area when I first started playing but never had the pleasure of watching this before. I had the privilege of playing him a few years back and beating him 3-0. I don't for one minute think he is the player he was but when he was practising he hit 140 after 140 and I though shit this might be hard work

  • why dont they run the news of the world anymore?

Or has it turned into the UK open?

  • 3:03 is that Mike Gregory in the bottom right?

  • I have this on tape also , these are the good old days, My earliest being the great Peter Chapman from 1974 , great stuff

  • Agreed.

  • bristow was the thinking mans player and no doubt if the other fella would have been on a decent finish, he would of went T20 D10. he knew what he was doing.

  • Won't see hardly anyone go this way now. thats why darts has improved over the years. 20, 20, tops.

  • the pressure wasnt on, and he prefers double 16

  • bad choice of outshot from 80 in the 1st leg from Eric.
