I really hate these problems. The machines with a poor laser diode shouldn´t be in a market. When we buy a new machine we expect the best, but sometimes we get the wrong machine. Not all the recorded cds are good, for example cds princo are the worst cds in the world.
The "No Disc" problems are usually caused by a bad laser diode. Troubleshoot by seeing if it can read a CD as they use separate laser diode for DVD and CD. If you have an XBOX or PS2/PS3 you can buy replacement laser assemblies. Otherwise it is likely a replacement costs more than the player is worth.
its the laser also some are aligned different try swap lasers if it dont fix then dump it!
