I cant open a file whit cmd open

I use bash 4.0(installation is not for beginners), It has a rly cool feature called "auto cd".
To change to your Pictures directory for example you type:
$ **/n00dz
and it finds the folder for you and changes to the directory, I use it for launching chocolate doom cause I can never remember which directory it's in.
