haunted house talking pumpkins

I made some talking pumpkins for my son's school's haunted house in 2007 and 2008. They are powered by a computer running a custom vb program combined with a bit of custom electronics. It works off the parallel port. there are more expensive and better ways of doing this but this was cheap and easy and the kids loved it. I also had a motion activated skull and scary hanging skeleton which also ran off a computer and a custom program. I used at least 3 laptops in each haunted house that I helped with.
