3:01 How is this Virgin train powered? I can't see overhead wires or a "third rail" system! And how about Pendolino? I see it pulled by diesel tractor. Is this because this line is not electrified and connects two electrified rail networks?

It was a diversion because the West Coast Main Line was shut and the train at 3:01 is diesel powered
