My sweet Mother in Nadiad, India

My dear Mother in Nadiad, India with her parents and brothers and sisters. The photo icon is of the Beach sisters, the two missionary women who brought up Daya and Anugra dadi. This is why Anugra dadi's name was Anugra Beach and we would write A. Beach when we sent her a letter by post. That was for privacy, so no one would know she was alone and an unmarried female. Men would try to take advantage of a lone woman. She came in her retirement years to come live near Dayadadi. It was nice to have her there. She was a gentle, generous and loving spirit. Wish we could have communicated better
