A tornado in Oakland Park, FL on March 29, 2010 was filmed by a surveillance camera as it passed near a gas station.

@homerm06 Yes. A tornado can be any size or any intensity. They don't go hand-in-hand.

@Maincontrol999 Believe it or not, it is possible for a car to got get moved or flipped in a tornado if the winds are less than, say, 125 MPH (about EF-2 or lower). I believe this tornado was rated EF-0, which is 65-85 MPH of wind (relatively weak for a tornado). I think even a Smart car would still be in its place in those winds, let alone a full-sized Buick LeSabre, as seen here (although its trunk was blown open).

@fedorauser1003 not here in florida. Our weather patterns are very unique; we get the most tornadoes on average a year, but they are weak and short lived

For a tornado to be a half mile wide and be an EF-0, you have to admit that it's extremely rare.

That storm was to the north of me, on radar it came from that line of strong storms from western broward that were moving east and was very deep in color as well.
