Senator Jennifer Beck (R-12) appeared on My9's New Jersey Now on Sunday, March 13, 2011 to talk about the need to bring financial transparency to New Jersey's numerous authorities and commissions.

The Senator has sponsored legislation, S-2765, which requires local authorities and commissions to establish an Internet website and post information related to each entity's mission, finances, meetings, and employees.

  • Senator Pennocchio has had a proposed bill S-445 aka the "Transparency in Government" proposed bil which he has been attempting to get approved for quite some time now. Its the "Real McCoy" and its now "Post-Time" that it gets passed in its entirety. This is not something newly proposed and just "WHY" would anyone in government be against the honest reporting of our tax dollars!
