Nick: *texting Demi* Hey Dem, wanna come to the TCA? It'll be a lot of fun :]
Demi: *texting back* Hey. Yeah sure :D aren't they tomorrow?
Nick: *texting* Yup :] I'll pick you up at your house at 6. We gotta be there earlyyy.
Demi: *texting* kay :]
-End of conversation-
Selena: *reading over Demi's shoulder* YOU'RE GOING TO THE TCAS? AWESOMEE!!!!!!!!
Demi: Ah you're never gonna get used to this *laughs*
Selena: *laughs* Nope.
-next day at school-
Nicole: *walks up to Demi's locker with Sarah and Cristy* *snotty voice* I heard you know Nick Jonas
Demi: I know who he is.
Nicole: *bratty* Why would he like YOU? I mean he could do wayyy better! Like ME!
Demi: *under breath sarcastic* wow you're so selfless
Sarah: *giggles*
Nicole: *glares at Sarah*
Sarah: *stops laughing*
Cristy: *interested* How did you meet Nick?
Nicole: Cristy! YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO SAY ANYTHING!
Cristy: *quiet*
Nicole: Well we'll be back *slams Demi's locker closed* woops. poor little baby. *walks away laughing S & C follow S is silent*
Demi: *annoyed*
-at 6-
Selena: Demi! He just pulled up!
Demi: Ahh okay! *runs down the stairs* *opens door* Hey
Nick: *looks at Demi* Wow, you're gorgeous!!
Demi: *blushes* No one says hi anymore *smirks*
Nick: *laughs* Hi! Now lets get going!
-They leave, a little while later Demi is watching in the audience next to Nick-
Announcer: And here are the nominees for best couple chosen by YOU:
*blah blah a bunch of couples and then*
The last nominee for best couple is Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus!

Nick: Oh crap.
Demi: *straight face*
Announcer: And the winner is... Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus!
Nick: *really mad, but knows he HAS to go on stage so he walks up to the stage*
Miley: *whispering* We won! Aren't you happy honey?
Nick: *whispering* No. We broke- *microphone starts working* Hey everybody.
Miley: We are so happy to except this! We're glad that you guys like us as a couple. Right Nick?
Nick: errrmm
Audience: *chanting* Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!
Demi: *slumps in seat*
Nick: *trying to get out of there* So yeah uhmm thanks *trys to walk away but Miley pulls on his shirt*
Miley: *kisses Nick*
Nick: *doesn't pull away but doesn't kiss back* [AN you'll find out why later]
Miley: *makes the kiss look convincing*
Audience: WOOO!
Demi: *about to start crying, runs to the door and gets a taxi*
Nick: *finally is able to pull away and goes back to his seat and notices Demi isn't there. Pissed at Miley but he can't leave because he has more awards to accept*
Demi: *goes inside Selena's house shuts the door and starts crying*
Selena: *runs down stairs* DEMI! I SAW IT ALL! Nick is a loser! *hugs Demi*
Demi: *sobbing* He- said- he- wouldn't- cheat! - He- promised!! He - didn't - even - pull- away!
Selena: I know I know. He's not worth it.
Demi: *stops crying* I really thought he was decent for a movie star, but I guess not. I'm gonna go to bed, I'm really tired
Selena: Okay, I'm here if you need me.
Demi: *goes upstairs and texts Nick* Hey. I see you're happy with Miley. I don't care. I thought you were different, but I guess not. You didn't even try to pull away, and that made a difference. If you don't have a VERY good reason, we're done.

-After awards-
Nick: *gets Demi's text really angry with himself* I really should have pulled away.
Joe: But you know that would cause a bad rep
Nick: Yeah but I'd rather have Demi *looks down and text Demi back*
Demi! Before I start explaining, I want you to know I truly love you. I know I know it sounds corny but I would never want to hurt you. Okay so let me explain. I really regret not pulling away. But the reason I didn't was because it would start a bad rep like we're not true to our girlfriends and all that crap paparazzi makes up. Please forgive me.
