Miyajima - Mt. Misen弥山

Tottori-Shimane-Hiroshima 2010: Miyajima Hiroshima: the view from Mt Misen, Miyajima Island.

When I came here, the ropeway was closed for a week for maintenance so I had to hike up the mountain. It actually turned out to be a nice hike (Easy compared to Mt. Misen弥山 --same name-- in Ominesan in Nara's yoshino kumano part).

At the top of the mountain you will find strange rocks that look like something out of a 60s star trek sound stage where two characters would have to fight.

Up here somewhere is a geocache but after a lot of searching, I was unable to find it :(

However, I highly recommend hiking up (or at least taking the expensive ropeway up) this mountain.
