I have something to confess. The main reason why I grew up hating egg plant as a child was because of this series. I'm a grown up adult and to this day I can't eat egg plant for the life of me. Thanks Nintendo.

This game is the Famicon's swan song, it's a showcase of everything good that the system had to offer, Adventure Island 4 rightfully deserves it's place as the last official Famicon game, it marks the end of an era... and what a glorious era indeed.

Yeah I highly doubt this was released in North America. I think it was a PAL, JAP release only.
