This is a heart breaking movie. Sadly underrated. I wondered what happened to Barry Robins after seeing this and found out. Death from Aids.

This is like the original Breakfast Club. Coming of age films were rare in the 70s compared to the 80s. especially with R rated content. Ode to Billy Joe is one of the few others i can think of.

@RBNightlinger you ars so correct, it was like a young hippies double bill movie. i know i saw it several times back in the day. Earlier i saw something from Woodstock and i thought of this for some reason. Bet they weren't far apart in the dates.

If I had been at that camp as a teenager, I have to admit I would have been ended up with the bunkhouse with the "bedwetters", because I sucked at sports and my social skills were almost non-existent.
