    Many Rivers to Cross is a 1969 song written and performed by Jimmy Cliff. It was performed by John Lennon duet with Harry Nilsson. Joe Cocker has also played in the Sheffield Steel album recorded in 1982. Linda Ronstadt has interpreted her album Prisoner in Disguise recorded in 1975.
