A Drop in the Ocean - Jack&Kate

*480p/Please Read* Made for LVI's March contest. The idea is to show what might happen next in the flash-sideways timeline. I figured I should write a description about it, otherwise it might seem confusing. I had to fit all of this in to 1 minute 31 so sorry if it seems a little...rushed? :P

September 2004:

Jack and Kate bump into each other on the plane. They recognise each other, but can't quite work out how. After the plane lands, they catch each other's gaze and Jack runs over to her car. Kate is shocked, but a spark between them results in them going to Jack's house, where they spend the night together.

July 2005:

With the passion ebbing away from their relationship, Jack resorts to alcohol and prescription drugs. When Kate finds out, they have a huge argument and she kicks him out.

October 2005:

Jack is sitting on a plane, thinking about Kate and drinking his life away. Once the plane lands, he drives to a nearby bridge to end the misery, convinced there is no way out of the treacherous depression he's restrained to. As he contemplates suicide, the sound of a crashing car behind him sparks something that makes him get off the bridge.

November 2005:

A few weeks later, he plucks up the courage to phone Kate, asking her for another chance. She rejects, so he decides to take action. He gets himself cleaned up, shaves, and drives over to her house. Using the spare key, he enters the house and searches for Kate. He finds her in the bedroom, and pulls out an engagement ring. Kate is surprised, and accepts, realising he has changed. They spend the night together.

December 2005:

They meet up in a car park, where Kate asks Jack to move back in. He accepts. Finally, they have both found happiness in their previously desolate lives.

Hope that makes sense! :P
