Owen's vast and diverse knowledge of musical genres can sometimes vex him in the Gearwire studio. Today he overcomes his intelligence, and manages to make only one snarky comment about Coldplay while demoing the Vox Satchurator. See if you can find it!

  • Oh...alright. Well that clears it up; I was looking for a pedal which would allow me to do an accurate cover of "Hello, Dolly". Glad I saw this before buying it.

  • you suck

  • Lame O' Demo :(

  • i quit youtube, every damn "demo" makes boxes sound like crap. All a bunch of tinny fizzy crap. Doesn;t anyone know to roll the tone back to like 9:00 where Joe actually uses this pedal and it sounds better.

  • LOL crappy demo.........

  • i still call him satchmo cos hes huge like a samsquatch lol

  • Dude- you need to dial in your amp settings first. You make this pedal sound really....really bad!!! I should sue you!

  • You're missing the point of the the pad switch: it's not supposed to attenuate the output, it's supposed to attenuate the INPUT, WITHOUT attenuating the output.

It's purpose is to prevent clipping when preceded in the chain by a pedal with overly hot output. If you're not using any other pedals with it, you SHOULDN'T hear a difference when you engage/disengage it. That's by design.

  • I own this pedal....it's one of the best distortion pedals I've ever played...BUT I really don't understand why they didn't make the TONE knobs 4 the actuall maximum amount ( meaning 10)

I mean the TONE knob sounds like c**p past 5...

But the pedal does sound really cool! And the boost is really usefull and of good quality!

    plus!It's cheap!
