First time I have heard this track...simply awesome!! I know Young John Watson as THE blues funkster of the '70's - Johnny "Guitar" Watson...I knew he had a blues background but this IS Rock n Roll...any debate left that Rock n Roll was a African American invention?
This guy is THE 1st brick in the foundation of Rock & Roll...and a complete unknown...what a pathetic testimony to guitar lovers the who world over..!!
For 1953 this was an ELECTRIFYING experience to hear OR witness.
Young John was 10 years ahead of the curve & maybe THE Vanguard of the next 30 years of music trends.
Anyone who claims to KNOW their R&R Roots..... can agree below....i
