Well it's September 2010 and well, some things I can definitely say has happened so far...
I work in retail right now. Everyone's hours at the place I work has been cut down to 22 hrs-25hrs a week from fulltime. Trucker has told us freight has cut down big time. And I heard a rumor at work that we may get cut down to 15hrs a week.

Keep in mind. You cannot predict anything in this dimension. Only give warnings. And guides. As for the other dimensions. They have been coming into our dimension more and more as we approach 2012. Im sure we will eventually have contact with dimensional things. Or Alien's before 2012 occurs. I know its a little off on the subject here. But it came to my mind.

You made this on January 04/09 and it is now October 15/09. I fail to see where you were very far off the mark. Indeed this is downright freaky. People who do not see and hear what you are saying are quite uninformed. Yes the written word has lost a lot of it's value today. In fact very few can converse to any real degree in it today. Plus your hair is quite a bit longer and I thought you were in Canad. Perhaps you moved then? Many of your predictions are relentlessly true today!

Wow he was talking for more than five minutes and said almost nothing of worth. By the way from what i have a heard a depression is when prices go down. Thus the word depression.

I can see that Orwell's insight into the destruction of language is progressing very well.
The word you are looking for is deflation. Deflation is when prices go down (although it is proposed by 'hard money' fans as the contraction in money supply; whereas inflation is the increase of money supply). It is possible to have both deflation and inflation on different classes of goods.
