this shit isn't from the 80s. they merely got 80s clothes and a few 80s niknaks here and there to fool people.
the cool people(or true 80s looks) kept their hair short by the neck and spiked or waved out in other areas. mullets were usually for the loser crowd.

The Name of the band is "Negative Image"... the song is called "Not This Way" find them on myspace.

Hey--even though poor old Negative Image's guitarist can't tune his guitar without major assistance, this song in the background does sound like cool 80s stuff! Seems they doomed themselves however, with their own name! Ha ha...thanks for the video...it's a lot of fun!

it sounds like 80s goth (not the goth "metal" that evolved somewhere in the 90s). Just listen to the Cure's "100 years" and you'll see what I mean. Iwasso80s said this was a goth band so I think the band was pretty true to the genre. . .

This is a clip from the late 1980s and the music you hear is from a local LA band called "Negative Image"...they were onstage playing while we (Foluntear) were getting ready in the dressing room. I don't know anything else about them other than you can see them right before they went on stage in my other clip called "1980s Goths tuning guitar"...that's them :) Enjoy!
