The Hollywood "Musa Dagh" AYF proudly invites all community members to take part in the annual Little Armenia Beautification Project on Saturday, October 8.
Every year, hundreds of youth converge onto the Little Armenia district of East Hollywood to clean and green the streets of this densely populated neighborhood. In addition to picking up trash and removing debris, volunteers clean graffiti and plant trees.
This year, we are fortunate enough to have the gracious support of LA Council President Eric Garcetti and countless community groups.
The opening and closing ceremonies will take place at Rose & Alex Pilibos Armenian School, starting at 10am and ending at 3pm. T-shirts, food and refreshments will be provided for all volunteers. Participation is entirely free of charge and open to everyone.
We hope you can join us as we make a difference in our 'home away from home.'
Fantastic upload! So nice to see Armenian youth caring for their environment, and making it better. Keep up the good work!
