Wow a news station that didn't compare marijuana to alcohol and prostution. I hope these laws pass for legalization for 18 and up. If you are old enough to serve in the military you should be old enough to drink or smoke.

Tobacco and alcohol kills marijuana on the other hand does not and it also has saved live yet it remains illegal and tobacco and alcohol are legal wtf?!?!? so it's ok for my liver to fail and it's ok for me to get cancer but it's not ok for me to smoke a plant that is harmless and beneficial... Doesn't make much sense.

@Jaaaarhead Your right I didn't type that out the way I wanted lol but smoking anything is going to be potentially harmful but there are lip balms, brownies, cookies, sprays, all kinds of safer ways to use marijuana I'm more towards the vaporizer cause it's safe while delivering I believe 90% THC so it is in my opinion completely harmless if used the right way and if used the worst way it is still much much more safer then most all the legal drugs we have out in the open market.

I totally agree that it should be legalized and that it isnt dangerous but saying it's harmless is retarded... By smoking one joint you inhale 4x more tar than from a normal filtered cigarette.

@jrtalley1990 I'm guessing it would also be illegal for people who were of legal age to distribute it to people who weren't, and being legal adults, they could face harsh consequences.

@MachoT247 I completely disagree with you on everyone for 18 and up. First of all, it would never pass with an age that young. Secondly, 18 would make it way too easy for kids to get it in school from their older peers. Then everything MPP/NSML/NORML and all of their supporters and other pro-legalization organizations have worked for, will have failed. We're trying to get past the stereotype where marijuana is abused, and it is -- by (most)children because they do not know what moderation is.

its all just a step in the right direction, people have been fighting for years for the right to this plant to be usedi, we have needed open discussion for years!
