There is no Miss World Curse for the Philippines, but it was something personal, after Evangeline Pascual begged off to take the crown, the Morleys vowed not to crown any candidate from the Philippines, so no matter how smart and beautiful the candidates are, they will never have the crown! Look at Ruffa and Gwen!!! They were the real winners 1993 and 2011

@GIA13615093 because in 2004 & 2005 selection of semifinalist were based on major text voting. so u know we have many countrymen supported our own candidate. 2002 & 2003 they are really 'in'.

As far as I know, it was Gregory Peck ( An american actor, who happened to be one of the judges ) voted for Ms. USA which was the reason why Ms. USA edged out Ms Philippines. It was his sole vote that robbed Ms. Philippines the title.
