Guy & Marian (My Skin)

*WATCH IN HD* *SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3*

Yes, another Guy & Marian video! LOL I couldn't help it, after hearing the audio book "The Witchfinders" narriated by Richard Armitage, I HAD to make a video based on it. It has a twist in my video, which was Marian's last wish of Guy. I think you will get the concept by watching it! :-) They should have made The Witchfinders audio book INTO AND EPISODE for season 3!!

I think I challenged myself in this video and I hope it paid off! It is a sad one folks! I seem to like the emotional sad videos lately. Does that mean something? LOL I really love this song I used and when I heard it it touched me and made me want to make this video. The song is "My Skin" by Natalie Merchant.

Software: Adobe Premiere Pro

Sorry it has taken me two months to make a video I have been sick twice and had a dance concert I was in so real life gets in the way as I am sure you all understand! LOL

Question: when did Guy say all those things? I can't recall Marian haunting Guy in S3 at all, or him narrating like that--yet it sounds like RA! am I going crazy here?

@silversliver87 In the description of the video I said it was from an audio book that Richard narriated called "The Witchfinders". It was an actual RH episode that they just never filmed and made it into an audiobook instead.

This is so moving, poignant and masterfully edited. The relationship between the lyrics and the partnering video clips was not patronising to the watcher and you managed to capture a true tenderness between these characters. The sound bites were used to great effect, adding depth to this beautiful representation of a couple that sadly never had the chance.

This is the best Guy and Marian video I've seen...and I've seen quite a few. The song is perfect, your editing is superb. I imagined the entire third season Marian's ghost haunting Guy. As much as I thought I'd hate the third season without Marian there to try to save Guy's soul, it turned out to be wonderful, though heartwrenching, to watch Gisborne redeem himself.

GAH!!! And the angles you've put on some of the clips for the chorus, the fades and glows, the little details like a backwards run of Isabella taking Guy's hand to show her as Marian, her "ghost"- IT'S. WOW. PURELY ROMANCE.

Had to come back for another viewing- this is just so fantastic. The superimposed video clips, the timing of them as well makes this video blossom like their relationship once did. Such an excellent song choice for them too and the high quality clips make it look all the more professional, even though I'm sure it would have looked just as professional had you chosen low-quality clips. There is a beautiful ribbon of story in this that flows throughout and ties a bow around the heart. Love. It.
