Orrin Hatch has voted in support of raising the debt ceiling limit by $7.6 TRILLION.

Here he attempts to explain it away by claiming it was mostly during the Reagan years, and "anybody with brains would have voted to support Reagan."

Hatch totally lies to this gentleman. He blames his debt ceiling and national debt woes on Reagan The debt he voted for under Reagan total 1.2 trillion compared to the 7.6 trillion he has voted to increase it by. He's a smooth politician. the dailycaller has a great expose on this searching: daily caller hatch-debt2.0

Orrin, why don't you tell us about being finance chair and just sweep under the rug all the horrible reasons why we would even want you to be finance chair given your lack of willpower to not vote for massive government spending...including TARP, the Auto Bailouts, and not even wanting to audit the Fed. I think the last thing anyone should want is to have Orrin anywhere near finance chair.

I am from Utah and for the last 3 or 31/2 years I have been contacting Orrin Hatch.. he is very good about not answering your questions.. skirts around them like a pro and lies. When he voted Elena Kagan in I went ballistic and wrote to him and asked him why.. His answer, "well I was afraid of who Obama might else bring"... What ever happened to convictions.. Hatch voted in Geithner, Holder, Bernanke, Kagan.. etc etc.. the very same people who have brought us where we are today!

He has learned to lie so well... he should be asked why he voted in Bernanke, Holder, Geithner and Kagan... He will give you some pretty lame reasons! Wake up Utah.. this man says he a conservative.. but he votes like a Democrat.. over and over and over again! 35 years is to long.. Vote in some new blood!!

If USA does not pay the bills interest goes up, dollars will have less value. NO war has been payed for since WWII. The last 12 years have seen 8 trillion added to the tab for totally unpaid for war/military budgets with even 1 trillion in weapon cost overruns, war supplemental's and nation building which you young folks will be paying for. I disagree with (R) on every issue but not raising the debt limit would be dumb and everyone on both sides agree.

War and Military spending has topped 8 trillion over last 12 years. Iran has oil and everyone wants it. Iran has concern about the USA invasion in Iraq, just hoping they are not next. Justification OK for American bombs but not OK for Iranian bombs. Only 15% of Muslims live in the middle east and 1.3 billion people are Muslims. Anyone watching Fox news/ propaganda central knows less about politics than a person that watches no news at all.
