Intricate and detailed props. Brilliantly designed puppets. Real actors as their voices. An orchestra using real instruments to play a music score expressly written for the show. Top notch children's television. Heck, I remember reading about it. A far cry from a psychotic sponge and the rest of his seasick mates.
