EMHS Winter Guard 2010: A-line Audition dance+flag

There are 8 spots on A-line, to spin sabre. This video only shows a couple of us, and sadly my camera runs out of memory so we don't get to see the rifle work :(
Those who made the line have yet to been said. I do not know which run-through we did was the legitimate, determiner audition. (the audition was probably several run throughs, maybe.) Really it's 4 people up for 3 spots, but only one of those 4 are seen in this video. (the one in all black, that's me)

And you viewers are welcome to make any sort of comment, like whether you liked it or not. Yeah you can critique where you want to but I think I already know that count two wasn't sharp enough or my tandaflesch legs were weak and bent, or I missed a performance moment. Please, to critique, critique my style/technique, not how my choreography wasn't perfect. ( i have a video. i know where i was wrong)

our guard at school doesnt have winter guard.. just marching band and the show that goes with it. i am instructing this next school year and im going to try to talk the principal into letting us do skits and routines for the pep rallys bc cheerleaders and even football players get to do that stuff and we dont. come up with routines and do them for talent shows and maybe you can get big by doing that!!(:

How much of a loser do you have to be to have a name like winterguardsucks? Maybe you should spend the energy you using to hate on guard, getting better at cheer.. And obviously none of those girls were even close to fat.. So maybe somewhere in the process of minding your own business you should get your eyes checked :)

If winterguard were easy it would be called cheer, and i think your anorexia is making you see things. or maybe not, you could be so fat and thats the reason your a spotter on you little "team" and not a flyer. put a flag in your hand and then open your mouth to say something other than "GO TEAM" or something negative.

If you think colorguard is easy, I like to see you spinning twirlling counting acting dancing leaping performing smiling and have it look good. We're not only expected to have upper body strength and excellent technique, we need proficient dance skills too.

I have total respect for cheerleaders, they're doing a sport too, but I'm tired of being compared to them. Find a new sport to pick on, perhaps the football team. They won't be as nice as me.

I usually don't call people out, but for someone as inarticulate and ignorant and you, I feel as if it is in your best interest to receive a little correction.

I am in high school indoor and outdoor guard, as well as an independent open class drum corps.

I used to be a cheerleader.

I am in the best shape of my life.

We run a LOT, and do the typical stamina and strength training that would be expected of an advanced sports team.

We are expected to not only have upper body stre

@winterguardsucks Are you freaking serious?! We have cheerleaders fatter than our guard! Guard is a VERY demanding SPORT. And even if someone is fat, so what? They can still look and feel just as beautiful as someone 20 pounds lighter than them doing guard.

Man, I wish someone had video taped this years audition choreography. It is so much better than last years.!! totally blew it out of the water!
