  • did you buy your other project 80 Liquifire at a farm sale in Plainfield by any chance? I had one that we bought new in 1982 and it was last stored at my dad's farm. When the farm was sold the sled was sold...i heard it started on the third pull. That was probably 15 years ago.

  • @tdsixtysix

The one running in the video came out of Henry, Illinois, the project sled came out of Rockford, Illinois from a guys who purchases stuff at farm sales, so possibly, but I dont know.

  • how fast can this sled go? whats top speed and if you mess with the clutch weights will it make a big differents

  • top speed can be close to 100 mph in perfect conditions and gearing. Best clutch advice is to go with a polaris purple primary spring.

  • Need to set the idle. Nice sled.

  • idle is set correctly, it has to be high to overpower the CDI's timing curve.

  • nice sled! keep up the good work.

  • nice sled dude... any chance you want to sell me some parts off that JD600

  • Thanks. I appreciate the info.

(Makes me laugh when I think about the fact that our ski boat was 115 hp. For an 18 foot tri hull... Now here's a little sled, a fraction that size, putting out over 1/2 as much!)

It's no wonder I was air-borne most of the time!

  • about 65 hp
