The tiny island of Montserrat was devastated by a volcano in the late 1990's. Over two thirds of its landmass was turned into a scorched mooscape. But in spite of this, several thousand people decided to continue living here, to keep their culture alive.

its sad that you only choose to show the part of Montserrat that is uninhabited and did not take time to show the beauty of the rest of the Island where its life as normal.

Actually this is only an excerpt of the half hour film... "Five Days in Montserrat". The documentary is all about the life and struggle of the people who still live on the island.

montserrat was a beautiful place but the souferie hills volcano put a stop to that in 1997. braden is the new capital but in law plymouth is still the capital. very sad for plymouth and the residents

would u like it if a volcano hit your place, and will u like it if someone says where u live is stupid, u will hate it so be quiet, u know wat happened to these ppl, almost all of them lost lives

I thought people where evacuated before the volcano erupted? Did people died on the island at the time of the eruption? Please respond?
