On the Saturday of Patriot's Day weekend, the Battle Road event takes place in Minute Man National Historical Park, MA. This honors the first battle of the American Revolution at Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775.
The Hartwell family, prosperous farmers, owned and operated the Hartwell Tavern. The Hartwells’ house doubled as a tavern, serving travelers to and from Boston. Living history demonstrations provide a glimpse of life at the time of the Revolution.

So it was because of the weapons they used that soldiers on both sides would just stand around between shots? When you look at it through modern eyes, it all looks so boring...
@40AcreMule i wish th didnt use linear tactics at the civil war so stupid if you have a rifle thats accurate byond a mile why did you stand in aline go tot he enemy at 80 yards just to trade off a couple volleys i understand here with smootebore muskets yes you need that line to gain more accuracy but when it came to the civil war you dont anymore the soliders on the front would find out quickly but the generals wouldnt know till after gettysburg
@covman23 they did kinda of but they lost more men and never got the arsenal of weapons of concord so it wasnt worth it but they still drove the minute men back
@rtggeorge In the words of the Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy... their uniforms create an "SEP" field (for those who don't know, that's "Somebody Else's Problem")
