@Aceacus No Eating two Devil Fruits would in fact kill you, the only reason blackbeard can have multiple powers is because of his Yami Yami No Mi Powers. Although it would be neat to have luffy inherit the power of hi dead brother, i think Luffy is already epic as is.

You know, Luffy and Blackbeard are opposites. I have a feeling that the D people have bodies that let them have two Devil Fruits. Luffy ate a Paramecia first, Blackbeard ate a Logia first. Blackbeard then got a Paramecia power, so maybe following thier theme of opposites Luffy will get a Logia, namely the Mera Mera no mi [ace's fruit]. Kind of a subtle joke, burning rubber lol.
