Blondie's cart modification to her Walkin' Wheels. I have been told by Handicapped Pets that this is a first. No one has ever attempted anything like this before. They were taken aback by my request for an extra set of knuckles and legs for the Walkin' Wheels cart. I've had this cart for almost a year and Blondie could not use it for very long because it pushed down across her upper back. This modification has served it's purpose of letting me angle the front wheels forward to take the pressure off her upper back and then stabilizing the rear of the cart so that it doesn't tip over backwards when she slows down, stops, tried to go up an incline or tried to back up. When she goes at a pretty fast pace, both the rear wheels actually lift up off the ground and just act as a counterbalance to help keep the harness from being pushed down on her back. This modification was a collaboration by myself and a fellow friend and classmate at PENN STATE where we are both in Engineering programs. I'm in the Mechanical Engineering technology program.
